My Mom Is A Runner- Why Libraries Have Nothing To Do With The Internet

The boys and I visit the library weekly.  They’re familiar enough now to know where we stop to return books and where the elevator to the children’s corner is.  It’s one of the things we do that lives up to my pre-kid fantasies.  When I was little, the library was very special to me.

Yesterday we dropped by to refresh our books and play in block corner.  And then I found this.

I’m gonna have a hard time returning this one.

In somewhat related news- I had a dream last night that I decided to take up skate boarding, which is actually something I’ve been thinking about for years.  Did this runner mom book inspire me to be awesome?

In totally unrelated news- Elliott pointed to my geeky shirt today, and called the rib cage “Daddy!”
