Stuff I did the year I was twenty eight:
- I was really into yoga.
- I was really into juicing.
- I rode my bike a few times.
- I ran a few times.
- Started listening to new music, again.
- Started using fabric softener, and making it from white vinegar.
- Learned how to be a nicer atheist.
- Learned how to stop over-sharing my eating habits, like an eating evangelist.
- Started talking about Reese’s cerebral palsy.
- Fell in love with fat activism.
- Came out as a feminist.
- Employed re-usable bags almost always.
- Learned how to argue with Jesse more constructively.
- Kissed, hugged, and chewed on Reese and Elliott a billion- kagillion times.
- Mourned an old friends death, and learned a little more about my own mortality.
- Got hurt and stopped doing yoga.
- Embraced change.
- Felt gratitude.
- Slept really well, for the most part.
- Got addicted to stand-up comedy (WHAT?)
- Ate an apple with almond butter for breakfast probably 300 days out of the year.
- Exercised some pent up creativity through writing, photography, and chalk board drawings.
- Spent a little extra time with my niece.
- Stopped putting so many terms on my peace of mind.
- Had 1.5 hangovers.
- Made ammends with a few old conflicts.
- Enjoyed new friendship.
- Grew my own tomatoes.
- Took both my kids in for operations.
- Deleted a thousand sentences that sounded too cliche.
- Posted something like 65 blog entries.

Here is to all of the amazing things you’ll do this year!
Thank you!
